Aule

Terms of service · effective May 24, 2026

An agreement,written across a table.

The legal bones are intact; the bureaucratese is not. If anything here reads as ambiguous to you, write to us at brennan@launchitservices.com and we will clarify it on this page so the next reader has it cleaner than you did.

i

What this is.

These are the terms of the relationship between you (the household) and Aule, Inc. (the service). By applying for membership, accepting an invitation, or using any part of the service, you agree to them.

We have written this the way we would explain it across a table. The legal bones are intact; the bureaucratese is not.

ii

Who we are.

Aule is a household intelligence service operated by Aule, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The team is small. The founders are Brennan and Haley McCloud. You will encounter human members of the operations team during onboarding and whenever the agent needs us.

iii

What you are paying for.

Membership gives you access to the household intelligence layer: the agent and the operations team behind it, the integrations Aule maintains with grocery, calendar, email, telephony, payments, and the vendor surface, and the ongoing improvement of all of the above.

The service operates in full-auto mode by default. Two beats of confirmation are kept on by default — before any grocery order, and any single spend at or above $200. The household can lock anything tighter or accelerate the loosening at any time, by changing rules in-app or asking the agent.

Charter membership is offered by application, not by checkout. We read every application personally. If we accept, you receive an emailed Stripe payment link and a welcome flow that walks you into onboarding.

iv

Rates, billing, and the founding lock.

The current Charter rate is published on /pricing. Members of the founding cohort — the first 250 households to onboard — keep their rate for the life of their membership. The rate is locked the day you onboard, not the day you apply.

Billing is monthly or annual, your choice. We accept payment through Stripe. Taxes are added where required.

Pass-through spend (groceries, services Aule pays vendors for on your behalf) is billed at cost. There is no markup on what Aule pays your vendors. Pass-through spend appears as separate line items on your receipts so you can see exactly what was paid and to whom.

v

The 30-day money-back guarantee.

If, within thirty days of onboarding, Aule is not holding what we said it would, write to brennan@launchitservices.com and we will refund the membership in full. Pass-through spend already paid to vendors is not refundable (your groceries got delivered; we cannot ask the store to take them back).

After the thirty-day window, cancellations are pro-rated. There is no fee to cancel. Your founding-rate lock survives a single cancellation if you come back within ninety days — we know life rearranges.

vi

Approval gates and spend authorization.

Aule will not initiate a financial transaction outside of the rules you wrote yourself during onboarding. The default rules include a confirmation gate on any single spend at or above $200 and on all grocery orders.

You can adjust the gates at any time. Raising a gate is immediate; lowering a gate (giving Aule more autonomy) takes effect after the next confirmation cycle so we have a chance to catch a miswritten rule.

If a vendor disputes a charge, send the receipt to billing@getaule.com and we will sort it out with you. Aule maintains a full transaction log; you can pull it any time from Settings → Data.

vii

Acceptable use.

Aule is for household operations — the cognitive and operational work of running a home. You may not use Aule to commit fraud, harass another person, conduct any business activity (Aule is not a procurement platform for a company), or do anything illegal in your jurisdiction.

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the agent, scrape the application, or use Aule's integrations to send unsolicited messages to vendors or third parties on a scale that would constitute abuse.

If we believe a household is using Aule in violation of this section, we will reach out first. If the use does not stop, we may suspend the membership. Refunds in that case are at our discretion.

viii

Your data, your control.

Your household data belongs to you. Full stop. The complete details of what we collect, where it lives, and how to delete it are on the Privacy page; the short version is: your data stays inside Aule's infrastructure, is never sold, is never used to train shared AI models, and can be deleted or exported by you at any time.

If you cancel, we keep your data for thirty days in case you come back, then delete it on schedule. You can delete it sooner from inside the app or by writing to us.

ix

Vendors and third-party services.

Aule acts on your behalf when it interacts with vendors — your grocery store, your house cleaner, your plumber. The relationship with those vendors is between you and them; Aule is the operations layer that coordinates the work.

If a vendor delivers something defective, you remain the customer of record. Aule will help you resolve the issue, but the legal relationship sits with the vendor.

x

Availability and the inevitable bad day.

We aim for very high availability and we will tell you when we miss. If the service is down for an extended period, the on-call team will reach out by SMS and email and tell you what happened, what we are doing, and when we expect to be back.

Aule is a young service. We will make mistakes. When we do, we will own them out loud and tell you how we are preventing the next one.

xi

Limitation of liability.

Aule's total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the membership fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — the kinds of losses you would have to prove a chain of causation for in court.

Two exceptions: we are fully liable for our own willful misconduct or gross negligence, and we are fully liable for breach of the privacy commitments on the Privacy page. Those are not negotiable, by us or by you.

xii

Dispute resolution.

If something goes wrong, start by writing to brennan@launchitservices.com. We will respond within five business days, and almost everything gets resolved at that step.

If we cannot resolve it together, disputes are subject to binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, in San Francisco County, California, unless applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to litigate. Either party may bring a claim in small-claims court for matters within that court's jurisdiction.

You and Aule each waive the right to participate in a class action against the other. This waiver does not apply where prohibited by law.

xiii

Changes to these terms.

We will email every active member at least thirty days before any material change to these terms. Non-material changes (a clarification, a sub-processor swap referenced from the Privacy page) will appear on this page with an updated effective date.

If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel before the effective date and your founding-rate lock is preserved for the standard ninety-day re-entry window.

xiv
