The Household Layer · By the Week

The household layer,by the week.

Aule is the household intelligence layer — the cognitive operating layer of a home, distinct from household management and household automation. There are two ways in. The weekly plan at $74.75/wk — billed weekly, cancel anytime, start today — or Concierge from $50k for households that need the layer self-hosted on their own infrastructure. No contract, no annual lock-in. The layer earns its keep week to week, and so do we.

Section ii

A letter from the founders

$74.75/wk, and you can stop whenever you want.

We charge by the week on purpose. A household layer should prove itself in days, not quarters — so the commitment stays small and the relationship stays honest. This is what it costs to run the layer the way we run it: full auto, real memory, real loop-closure, real people on call behind the agent.

No annual contract, no setup fee, no renewal a year out you forgot you signed. You start this week, the layer goes to work, and if it ever stops earning its keep you cancel — no fee, no clawback, no conversation you have to win.

We are not asking you to bet a year on us. We are asking you to give us a week, and to let the work be the argument.

  • 01Onboarding interview with Brennan and Haley — your household memory gets built in person
  • 02Full auto by default — Aule closes loops end-to-end. Examples today include meals through grocery delivery, service appointments through quotes/booking/payment, dinner reservations, summer camp registration, and travel from search through itinerary
  • 03Approval gates on grocery and any spend over $200 — two beats of confirmation, and the layer gradually loosens as it earns your trust
  • 04Three-layer household memory that compounds monthly — facts that do not change, patterns learned over weeks, every action on the record
  • 05Nightly synthesis loop — while you sleep, Aule reviews the day and surfaces what is coming, what changed, and what needs your nod
  • 06Per-household configurable rules — spend limits, escalation triggers, the topics that always wait for you. You write them once; you adjust them whenever
  • 07Calendar reconciliation across both partners, the kids, and the dog
  • 08Subscription auditing, recurring-charge verification, bill-pay coordination
  • 09One-click delete-my-data and a portability export, always

iv entries
  • 01Anything Aule pays vendors on your behalf — that's passthrough at cost (plumber's bill, groceries, flights). Aule is the operations layer, not the credit card.
  • 02Therapy, financial advice, legal advice, or medical decisions — Aule coordinates; your professionals decide
  • 03Childcare or eldercare delivery — Aule coordinates the people, doesn't replace them
  • 04Anything the household member needs to physically be present for — soccer practice, school drop-off, your wedding

Section v · Questions of record

The questions we hear most.

i.What does Aule actually cost?

Aule is $74.75/wk, billed weekly. No setup fee, no contract, no annual commitment — cancel anytime. Concierge installations — self-hosted on-prem, fine-tuned model, custom integrations — start at $50k, by inquiry, on a 3 to 6 month engagement cycle.

ii.Why bill weekly instead of monthly?

Weekly keeps the commitment small and the relationship honest — $74.75/wk, and you can stop whenever you want. The household layer earns its keep week to week, so that's how we charge for it. No annual lock-in, no surprise renewal a year out.

iii. What's the difference between the weekly plan and Concierge?

The weekly plan ($74.75/wk) is the household intelligence layer — managed by Aule, running on our infrastructure, self-serve, and ready the day you start. Concierge (from $50k) is for households that need the layer self-hosted on their own infrastructure, with a fine-tuned model trained on their household, custom integrations to private systems, a dedicated operations team, and optional white-label. Concierge is right for ultra-high-net-worth households, family offices, and any household where data sovereignty is non-negotiable. Most households are on the weekly plan; Concierge is the right answer for a small number of households where it is the right answer.

iv.How do approval gates work?

Full auto is the default — Aule closes loops end-to-end without you in the middle. Two beats of confirmation are kept on by default: before any grocery order, and any single spend at or above $200. After roughly 30 days and at least four successful grocery confirmations, the household can graduate grocery to "approve the weekly meal plan, run orders against it" — and the $200 threshold can be raised or removed at any time. You can also lock anything tighter, or accelerate the loosening, whenever you want.

v.Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — anytime, no fee, no questions, no clawback. Billing is weekly, so cancelling stops the next charge. You keep access through the week you already paid for, and your one-click delete-my-data and portability export are always available.

vi.Is there a free trial or a money-back guarantee?

No free trial — onboarding is high-touch and we don't want to do it for households who aren't serious. Because billing is weekly, the risk is small by design: you're never more than a week in, and there's a money-back guarantee on your first week if Aule isn't holding what we said it would.

vii.Does Aule charge my plumber/grocery store/etc. on my behalf?

For groceries and any single spend at or above $200, Aule asks first. For everything else inside your household rules, Aule closes the loop end-to-end through your card or account. Anything Aule pays vendors on your behalf is passthrough at cost. Aule is the operations layer, not the credit card line of business.

viii. Can both partners use the same Aule account?

Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Aule learns the whole household, not just one person. Adding a partner adds zero to the weekly rate.

ix.How do you handle data privacy?

Your household data lives in Aule's infrastructure only and is never shared with third parties or used to train shared models. We run marketing measurement on our public pages to reach the households we serve, but nothing inside the product is exposed to third-party trackers. Aggregated benchmarks may inform our annual State of Household Intelligence report; individual responses, never. One-click delete-my-data and a full portability export are always available.

x.What if my weekly rate changes later?

We'll never raise your rate without telling you first. If pricing ever changes, you'll hear it directly and you decide whether to stay — there's no contract holding you, and you can cancel before any new rate takes effect.

xi.Can I start today?

Aule opens in roughly three weeks once final iOS approval lands. Reserve your spot now via the Mental Load Index assessment and you start the moment we open.
