Overview

Aule,at a glance.

A four-minute version of the whole thing — for the buyer who wants the honest read before going deeper. What Aule is, what Aule is not, who Aule is for, and how Charter membership is offered. The rest of the Products section answers the same questions in more detail.

TL;DR

Aule is the household intelligence layer. Full auto by default; the layer closes loops end-to-end with two beats of confirmation on grocery and any spend over $200, gradually loosening as it earns your trust. The layer grows as we ship more.

What Aule is

Three sentences for the impatient buyer.

01

The household intelligence layer — the cognitive operating layer of a home, distinct from household management (execution) and household automation (devices). It anticipates what is coming, picks who or what should do the work, decides inside your rules, closes loops end-to-end, and gets sharper at all of it the longer it sits with you. Examples of loops today: meals through grocery delivery, service appointments through quotes/booking/payment, dinner reservations, summer camp registration, travel from search through itinerary.

02

Full auto by default, with two beats of confirmation. Aule closes loops end-to-end without you in the middle. Two gates are on by default — before any grocery order, and any single spend at or above $200 — and the layer gradually loosens them as it earns the household’s trust. You can lock anything tighter or accelerate the loosening at any time.

03

A standing arrangement with a set of rules you wrote yourself. Spend limits, escalation triggers, the topics that should always wait for you — you set them once at the start and adjust them whenever you want. The layer does not invent the lines; you draw them, and the layer respects them every time. Onboarding is an interview Brennan and Haley conduct with you in person; the relationship continues every week from there.

What Aule is not

Four common misreads, said plainly.

The category is new enough that it is easy to mistake for something adjacent. If any of the below is what you came in expecting, the honest answer is no.

Not a chore app

Chore apps redistribute the doing. Aule removes the deciding — the part of household work that lives in someone’s head at 2 a.m.

Not a chatbot

A chatbot adds tabs to your day. Aule is the opposite shape: it acts without being asked, and tells you what it did.

Not a generic AI assistant

The big AI labs are pointed at the balance sheet — built to get more work out of humans. Aule is pointed at the dinner table. Different category, different bet on what AI is for.

Not a household manager replacement

A household manager is a skilled person you hire to execute work. Aule is the layer above — the one that decides what the household manager (or vendor, or family member) should be doing in the first place.

For the long version, see /products — the same distinctions appear with longer treatments and links to comparison pages.

How it is offered

Two ways in.

Aule is not an open self-serve product. Most households join as Founding Charter — the layer as we run it, with the first 250 households permanently locked at the founding rate. Some households need the layer self-hosted on their own infrastructure; those engagements are Bespoke.

Who it is for

Two readers we built this with in mind.

Aule is not for every household, by design. The founding cohort is shaped around two readers in particular — the people whose lived experience built the product, and the partners now actively buying for them.

Primary

The Household COO.

A 32- to 48-year-old mother in a dual-income household with one to four kids who has been running the operating system of her family in her head for years. She knows it is breaking her and has the means to pay for it to stop. Aule is built for her, in conversation with people very much like her.

Secondary

The Convicted Partner.

The husband or partner who has watched the load break someone he loves and is now an active buyer — not as a gift, as a household decision. Aule’s memory is shared; both partners get equal access; the cognitive layer was never meant to live in one head.

Overview FAQ

The fastest answers we can give.

01Is Aule an app I install or a service that runs my house?

It is a service. The product surface — the chat, the morning brief, the receipts — lives in an app, but what you are paying for is the human-and-AI operations team running on top of your household. Charter members onboard with a real person in a real conversation. The app is the surface, not the service.

02Is Aule run by people or by AI?

The household-facing layer is AI — full auto by default, two beats of confirmation on grocery and any spend over $200. Behind the agent, our operations team tunes the layer toward a 95%-plus closed-loop completion rate. They are not reviewing your individual transactions; they are improving the architecture everyone runs on.

03How is this different from just using ChatGPT to plan my week?

ChatGPT does not know your household, does not act without being asked, does not close loops end-to-end with vendors and stores and reservations, and does not have a memory that compounds with every action. Aule is the opposite shape on every one of those. It is also under contract to keep your household data inside your household.

04What happens the day after I apply?

The application is reviewed by a member of the success team within forty-eight hours. If accepted, you get an emailed Stripe payment link and a welcome flow that walks you through the onboarding interview, the rails (the integrations Aule reads from), the permission ladder, and the spend guardrails. By day eight, the household is held.

05Can both partners use the same Aule?

Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Aule learns the whole household, not just one person. Adding a partner adds zero to the rate.
